Tigo's Rapid Shutdown System (RSS) transmitter completes the cost-effective architecture of the rapid shutdown system when coupled with Tigo's UL certified fire protection solutions - including the TS4-A-F (add-on). The RSS transmitter sends a signal to the TS4-F units to keep the PV modules connected while they are powered on and supplying power. The TS4-F units automatically enter quick shutdown mode when the RSS Transmitter is turned off and resume power generation when power is restored to the RSS Transmitter. This solution complies with NEC 2014, 2017 and 2020 690.12 Rapid Shutdown Specifications using power-line (PLC) communication. Available as a kit, DIN rail or PCBA for integration into inverters.
