An Innovative System for Greater Energy Efficiency
In Luzzara (RE), Fonderia Bassoli M. Srl, has recently completed the installation of an advanced photovoltaic system. This system was designed to optimize the company's energy performance, reduce consumption, and contribute to more sustainable resource management.
Fonderia Bassoli M. Srl is a leader in the foundry sector, with expertise in mold construction, brass foundry, die casting, and aluminum foundry. With extensive experience and a constant focus on innovation, the company stands out for its ability to work with various light alloys, meeting the demands of a market increasingly focused on quality and sustainability.
The revamping of the photovoltaic system, carried out by Rilas Srl, aimed to improve the energy efficiency of the foundry. This process involved dismantling the old solar panels and replacing them with 2263 AIKO-A-MAH72Mw 605W photovoltaic modules, chosen for their high capacity to cover the entire roof surface and for their excellent energy production efficiency. Additionally, 10 Sungrow SG125CX inverters were installed, ensuring optimal management of the energy produced.

With an initial power of 620 kWp, the photovoltaic system was upgraded to 1368 kWp, a significant increase that will cover a substantial portion of Fonderia Bassoli M. Srl's electricity consumption. Thanks to this improvement, the overall 1.4MW installation is now able to cover a significant portion of the company's electricity consumption, with an expected return on investment in less than three years.
Rilas Srl handled the entire process, from complete design to managing the bureaucratic procedures for maintaining the incentive tariff on the existing system, and connecting the system to the grid. Thanks to this intervention, Fonderia Bassoli M. Srl has not only improved its energy efficiency but also reinforced its commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.
