VSN800 Weather Station
The weather stations of the VSN800 family allow you to monitor, through the Aurora Vision cloud platform, a whole series of atmospheric and panel data thanks to temperature, radiation and wind sensors.
The VSN800 contains a complete set of environmental sensors essential for solar monitoring. The extended environmental sensor set allows for broader monitoring of environmental parameters.
The VSN800 can be paired with the VSN700 Data Logger and can be directly connected to the RS-485 port of the new PVS string inverter families.
Configured before shipment, it can be directly installed without the aid of specific tools
The VSN800 Weather Station is delivered ready for installation and requires the installer to mechanically fix the various modules on the pole included in the kit, connect the power supply and communication and start the automatic installation process. No special software or tools required on-site calibration.
The all-in-one Weather Station solution reduces installation, support and maintenance costs and improves the robustness and handling of the PV system monitoring system.
The VSN800-12 basic sensor set provides the data needed to calculate the performance index of the system, allowing the plant operator to compare the performance of the PV module strings with the expected energy production.
In the VSN800-14's advanced sensor set, wind speed and direction sensors provide the operator with information about how much wind is cooling the panels and how much dust is accumulating on them.
