SMA ENERGY METER:
The metering solution for energy management in SMA Smart Home: The SMA Energy Meter calculates total and precise intelligent metering values, for example as a grid feed-in and off-grid meter and communicates them via Speedwire. Thanks to the fast bidirectional supply of values, the Energy Meter is the data provider for intelligent energy management in the SMA Smart Home, it allows all grid production data to be transmitted via an Ethernet cable to a Sunny Home Manager, Sunny Island or, in the future, even a Sunny Boy Smart Energy.
This also allows effective energy monitoring, efficient load and battery management as well as reliable limitation of active power at the grid feed point, taking into account the self-consumption quota.
