Activate the Platform for the Module Registry of the Transition 5.0 Plan Established by ENEA
As of November 13, 2024, the platform for managing the Photovoltaic Module Registry, administered by ENEA on behalf of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, is available. This registry, established by the Energy Decree (D.L. n.181/2023), is a key element for companies looking to benefit from the incentives offered under the Transition 5.0 Plan, which aims to support the purchase of capital goods related to renewable energy technologies. The platform allows users to verify that photovoltaic modules meet the necessary efficiency and sustainability requirements to access these incentives.
The objective of the Photovoltaic Registry is to stimulate the development of the national and European photovoltaic supply chain, guiding business investments towards the most advanced and high-performance technologies.
The Registry classifies photovoltaic modules into three categories, based on territorial and qualitative criteria:
- Modules produced in the EU with a minimum efficiency of 21.5%.
- Modules and cells produced in the EU with a minimum cell efficiency of 23.5%.
- Modules with innovative cells (e.g., bifacial or tandem) with a minimum efficiency of 24%.
Photovoltaic module manufacturers and distributors can register their products on the ENEA website after enrolling in the platform. The platform consists of the following sections:
- Substitute Declaration: Collects the company and legal representative details, along with the technical characteristics of the photovoltaic modules to be registered.
- Technical Attachment: Requires the submission of detailed information about the modules, including technical specifications, nominal power, and efficiency.
- Required Attachments: Includes the upload of necessary documents, such as the chamber of commerce certificate, efficiency certifications, and the payment receipt via PagoPA.
