SolarMax MT SERIES HONORED WITH 'VERY GOOD' at PHOTON TEST

Jul 27, 2011
The trade publication Photon has tested and awarded the inverter Solamax 13MT series with the seal of approval "very good" on its efficiency.

Sputnik Engineering AG says "not only accurate, but also efficient" with the MPPT device and, according to the publishers, got more good results.
This means that the device is one of the leading candidates for the test and "it is an exemplary demonstration of the current trend of string inverters, three pursuers facilitate the design of a system and can be implemented in order to optimize photovoltaic systems on roofs made from the conformation complicated. "
In addition, the publishers of Photon compliments have advanced towards the clear and compact design of the inverter, the compatibility with the thin film modules of its wide range of input voltage and the fact that they were not used electrolytic capacitors. All this promotes a longer life of the devices.
The electrical engineers of Photon have measured the maximum efficiency with high MPP voltages, such that the difference between the low voltages and between the voltage and the dependency output of the conversion efficiency have been extremely low in the test.

The MPPT adjustment efficiency was described in the report of the test as "very high and uniform."
"We are delighted that virtually all of the results of laboratory tests Photon correspond to ourselves," says Olaf Geistlinger, Product Manager Single Phase Inverter of Sputnik Engineering AG.
The Swiss manufacturer has introduced the MT series on the market with an output of 10 to 15 kW.

"Regardless of whether it is in Germany, France, Spain or Italy, the new series meets the highest standards of a wide range of markets and is therefore one of the most important fundamentals in our portfolio," says Geistlinger yet.
